When does LAHSO meet?

A:

Friday mornings from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Where does LAHSO meet?

A:

We are blessed to be able to rent space from a local sports and recreation center in Lodi. We have access to the gymnasium, an art room, music room, nursery, and commons area. Please contact us for more details!

Q:

What classes are provided?

A:

We offer a Music Class, Physical Education Class,  and an Art/Enrichment Class. 

  • Music - Led by an experienced vocalist/pianist with a music degree. 
  • Physical Education - Includes an introduction to a variety of organized sports and games using applicable gym equipment. 
  • Art/Enrichment - A diverse mixture of art, theatre, science, and craft projects.

Q:

How are class sizes/grades structered? 

A:

Grades are broken down into three groups.

  • Elementary Group K - 2nd Grade
  • Middle School Group 3rd - 6th Grade
  • High School Group 7th - 12th Grade

Q:

Does LAHSO include any programs/concerts? 

A:

Yes, the children love to show off their hard work! A concert is performed at the end of each semester, which includes several songs and various hand instruments. Family and fiends are welcome to come and support the kids.

Does LAHSO offer special events and/or field trips?

A:

LAHSO sponsored events include a Christmas Party (gift exchange included), Valentine's Day Party, and Science/History Fair - all done within normal group hours. Families are welcome to organize special events/activities/field trips outside of group hours.

Q:

Who leads LAHSO? 

A:

Leadership consists of a Steering Committee, made up of volunteer parents that are current members. The Steering Committee exists to guide the group by working together to listen to concerns, pray for wisdom, and make decisions based on what is best for the entire group.
